A "Reference ID" is a unique reference number from the document or source from which the piece of data that is being inputted into the system was obtained.
Examples include the invoice number, MPAN number, MPRN number, ticket number, and receipt number. The system also accepts text input in the "Reference ID" field. If you do not have a numerical identifier, please input meaningful text that allows all users and administrators to understand the origin of the data.
