Geographical Structure

All carbon calculations must use the appropriate emissions factors and methodologies for the location where they originated. The geographic structures are automatically defined by the software upon creation of facilities in the facilities screen, and each building/asset then has activities associated with it. These are arranged by country, region, state/county, city, address line 1, and address line 2.

Organisational Structure

The software allows organisational entities such as business units, cost centres to be mapped onto geographic locations and sub structures. The key driver and benefit of this functionality is to allow organisations to report their greenhouse gas and sustainability metrics in the same familiar reporting structure as their financial reporting.
