After setting up the Multi-Site upload, you are ready to upload a spreadsheet filled with data for many activities which is attached to many different assets/buildings.


Step 1:  Click on the ‘Multi-Site Upload’ button in the drop down menu under the ‘Data Management’ tab at the top of the screen.

Step 2: Select the activity source category for which the spreadsheet contains data for. To note, you can only upload data for one source category at a time. 


Step 3: Once the source category is selected you will see a new screen appear in which you will need to select if the data you are uploading is High-Frequency data or Low-Frequency data. Please select the most appropriate option for the data you are uploading here and click on 'Continue'.


Step 4: The next screen that appears is informing you of the column and details needed for the upload to be successful. This is aimed at users who are not using an official Diligent template. If you are using an official Diligent template you can just click on 'Continue' at the bottom.


Step 5: You will then be prompted to upload the data template you wish to upload data from. When you click on 'Select' here a window will pop up allowing you to browse your computer and select the correct file. Once your file has been uploaded a green circle will appear beside it and you can select on 'Continue'.


Step 6: You will then be prompted to select the name of the sheet you are looking to upload from the excel upload template, and 'Select Activity Unique Reference' this is the Mapping ID and so you can selected the Mapping ID column here. You can then click on 'Continue'.


Step 7: In the next screen you can map the database fields required to the the column headers in the data upload template, please note all fields with an '*' beside them are mandatory fields and so must be mapped otherwise the upload will error. Once you have mapped these you can click on 'Finish'.
