To search for a meter navigate to the Meter Manager screen by selecting the Data Management menu icon at the top of the screen. and select Meter Manager from the drop down menu. Once on the Meter Manager screen, use the tree view (A) to select the part of the organisation, date period (B) and Utility selectors (C) and search filter (D) to filter the list to select your meter.

For example if you are looking for half hourly meters you can input half hour into the meter type search bar and click to filter to only half hourly meters.

Important Note: The user will only see meters for the assets and buildings that he/she has been granted access to by the administrator. This is detailed in the "User Access Management" Section of this user guide.

Step 1: Click on the meter in the list that you wish to edit. You will then see the meter analysis screen for that meter.Next select the Meter Config tab (A) on meter that you wish to change the calorific value.

Step 2: Next select the Meter Settings section (B) and choose the Calorific Value (C) you require. Click Save when finished.

Gross Calorific is the appropriate option for CRC and should be chosen. If the calorific value for the gas is actually net calorific value, this needs to be converted to Gross Calorific Value using a conversion factor.

Calorific Value (CV) is a measure of heating power and is dependent upon the composition of the gas. The CV refers to the amount of energy released when a known volume of gas is completely combusted under specified conditions.
